Simply Yo Self Serve Yogurt Lounge

Butch Brooks and his wife opened Simply Yo’s doors June of 2012 and have been serving Springfield’s public ever since.

Simply Yo offers a variety of frozen yogurt flavors all real dairy certified, as well as, a generous variety of toppings to choose from. Simply Yo also offers its customers lunch between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Recently moved back to the Springfield area, I was introduced to Simply Yo by friends. It is in this way, says owner Brooks, that Simply Yo has gained most of its popularity. It is easy to see why Simply Yo  is quickly becoming one of Springfield’s top go-to Yogurt joints. When a customer walks in they are greeted with a warm smile and welcome.

“I think franchises get away from customer service. That’s what sets us apart.” says Brooks. As you peruse the yogurt selections, music plays softly in the background. Afterwards, yogurt in hand, customers can lounge on sofas or sit at tables and connect to Simply Yo’s free wifi.

Simply Yo provides several other services to their customers, such as, a rewards program, a discount to Springfield’s college students, and a room available for reservations- great for birthday parties or meetings!

Simply Yo is a great place for people of all ages. While on a separate visit, I observed a father enjoying the company of his two children, several other college students, such as myself, and several elderly people- all brought together by a warm atmosphere and a delicious snack!
