Episode 810 Best of Show- Spring 2013
Paul Katona  recorded the Toby Show in front of a live audience in Oct 1985 as much as a way to preserve this rural art form but also to capture the art this group of very talented actors.  The show espoused rural values in a time when America was moving to the city.  The show is turn of the century country vaudeville with singing, dancing, jokes and gags and  has a small plot where the country bumpkin outwits the city slicker.
